Top 5 Reasons Why Newbies Fail at Network Marketing and Usually Give Up

I have noticed that the majority of the people I recruit into network marketing have very little knowledge about how this network marketing business works. Our job as the upline (sponsor), is to guide them in the right direction and teach them the proper skills needed to succeed. Now this doesn't mean that you need to spend hours hand feeding this information to them, they should still do some of the work and educating on their own. I have found 5 very good reasons why these newcomers quite often give up quickly and become bitter about this industry. When you do not have the proper tools and education in place, this type of industry can be very misleading.

1. Lack of Patience- Many newcomers expect to see $100 bills rolling into their bank account as soon as they get their business up. If it really worked this way we would not be in a recession right now in the USA now would we? They tend to get very frustrated when they do not see immediate results. They expect their business to boom overnight, with out actually lifting a finger. They have no clue that you still have to put in to this business what you want to get out of it.

2. Laziness- You go over and over and over again on how they need to educate themselves everyday. Then they say ok but never do it. There is an abundance of information and education that can be learned, but you have to utilize that in network marketing. You can't hold their hand, they have to go out in the network marketing world all by themselves. They do not research the whole process enough or at all. They expect their upline to do all the work for them. Like we really have the time to do that!

3. They do not Listen- You give them places to market, how to market, show them videos to watch, tell them exactly what they need to do. You take their phone calls day after day and try your best to help them anyway they can. And what do they do? NOTHING! They complain to your sponsor on how you didn't tell them what to do. They just keep their site idle and I guess pray for a miracle. Or they find another online business and get sucked into believing that is going to make them money and jump ship and go to them, but they still have no clue how to market. Isn't that the whole point of network marketing?

4. Lack of Common Sense- Now this one makes me laugh. Some newbies actually think that a website will do everything for them. You don't have to market or anything! You did all the work. You made the site. That's it. Voila! Millionaire! WRONG! I really do wish it worked that way though. If this system was invented, please let me know. Even so, that would defeat the whole purpose of network marketing. The "networking" part is cancelled out.

5. No will- A lot of these newcomers try to use this business as a means to get out of a hole or basically think in their mind that they don't have to work anymore. They don't have enough will to keep the business going and to work at it. They simply don't care enough. You have to find your reason WHY. Why do you want to do this? Why are you here?

Now if you feel that you don't portray any of these qualities I am quite sure that you will do very well. It just takes some time. Network marketing is a great way to meet with people. People become attracted to your leadership. They are sold by you. That is what can make you very successful in network marketing.
