Internet Marketing Tips - Spreading It Around

I marvel at the guys who come to forums and say stuff like, "I got $3,000. What one thing should I spend it on?" I don't know about you, but there isn't one thing on the Internet worth spending $3,000 on. And let me tell you, if you've got that kind of money, or even a lot less,. I can show you the best ways to get the most bang for your buck. Keep reading to find out more.

The first thing you want to do is get yourself a domain. This is a dirt cheap expense. You're looking at under $10 for a domain name for a year. But before you go out and get any domain, do some research. Decide what niche you want to tackle. Then try to come up with a domain name that really describes that niche. For example, if you decide you want to sell natural acne cures, look for something like naturalacnecures.

The next thing you want to do is get some decent web hosting for your domain. Today, you can get great web hosting for under $5 a month. It's not like the good old days when web hosting cost an arm and a leg. Today, it's really dirt cheap.

The next thing you want to do is get yourself an autoresponder in order to build your list. The money is in the list, use one. You can get an autoresponder, a good one, for about $20 a month. This is one of the best investments you can make.

The next thing you want to do is invest in some advertising. You don't want to put all your advertising in one place. I'd put about $5 a day into an Adwords account. That's only about $150 a month and should bring you a decent amount of traffic depending on how competitive your niche is.

I'd then take another $20 to $40 a month to invest in some good solo ezine ads. Hunt out the top ezines in your niche and see what their rates are. If they're really expensive, you could work out some kind of deal where you write content for their ezine in exchange for a solo ad. An ezine owner who is hungry for content may just take you up on this offer.

I'd then invest some money into some good tools such as HTML editors, Photoshop to create graphics and Camtasia to create videos. Between the three of these you won't even spend $1,000.

With the above items, you will have just about everything you need to create, launch and promote your new business without spending a fortune.

Spread it around and you'll find you'll get the most bang for your buck.
